Introducing ARTISTS AGAINST ARIZONA’S SB1070 (AAAZ’sSB1070) T-SHIRT Visibility Campaign
Over 300 Writers, Dee-Jays, Singers, Actors, Sculptors, Photographers, Musicians and Artists of all kinds from across the US & around the world have signed on to a statement to use their artistry as a weapon against Arizona’s anti-immigrant law SB1070 and to support the boycott of that state.
Now we want to demonstrate our outrage by launching Artists against Arizona’s SB1070 T-shirt Visibility Campaign. Printed in a limited run, are Black Gildan brand 100% cotton T-shirts with the AAAZ’s SB1070 the logo which was designed by New York based graphic artist YK Hong. http://www.ykhong.com/designer.html
We are asking for a $20.00 donation per shirt (which includes shipping & handling)
Then we are asking artists to join the visibility campaign by taking pictures of themselves in the shirts engaged in some form of activism: from performing on stage, working in your studio, making a public or media appearance, to marching or speaking out against SB1070.
